We couldn't leave him stranded at the church with no food, so we brought him home and are in the process of cleaning him up...brushing, cutting mats off, etc. For the time being he is going to reside here... He seems quite happy to just stick around and soak up the attention. I am not sure if I'm totally ready for the training, etc., but hey, it might not be that bad. :)
Pop started calling him, Traveller, {after Robert E. Lee's horse, I believe:)} so we decided that is what we might as well call him. :)
The black is the tar. |
It appears that he doesn't like Monday mornings either. :) |

If you decide to get rid of him, Nathan wants him. He looks like he's gonna be a pretty dog!
I think we'll keep him. :) Michael is more attached than I am....I think. :)
Traveller is a perfect name for him. He is so lucky to have found you. Golden Retrievers are such sweet dogs.

We really like him.:) We went and got him a collar and some dog food tonight. If it doesn't rain tomorrow, I am going to try and give him a bath. :)
He looks like such a sweet dog, I'm glad you were there to take him home with you. Some people are so cruel, I don't understand that.
Thanks so much for leaving a comment today and I will be back to visit you, and I really hope that now that you have left a comment you will leave one each time you visit. I LOVE to meet people, particularly BC'ers!
Hugs, Cindy
