If it is not one thing then I suppose it's another. :) Michael had just fully recovered from all that went on the beginning of this week....He was turning and stepping off a curb at the same time and broke his ankle. He said it popped four times and then when he went to stand up, it was a shooting pain that almost made him pass out.
So we got home propped it up and put ice on it, ate supper, and headed back to the ER at UNC. We were there for 4 1/2 hours and they put a splint on it for 10 days, and then Michael can probably have a walking boot for the next 4-6 weeks.
Thank you so much for you prayers, emails, phone calls, and text messages.... They are a big encouragement! :)

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear this; however, it sounds as if he is better off than most people with a broken ankle. A friend broke hers a week before she began a new job at UNC so she had to stay with friends for the six weeks she could not put any weight on that foot. I do hope that after 10 days Michael will have a walking boot and that he is not in too much pain, now. Teddie
Miss Teddie,
He is not in much pain, and we're thankful for that. We hope the company he works for can find something he can do in a walking boot, other than park cars, because it is his right foot.
