A Bundle of Blue!

     I had an ultrasound this past Tuesday and we found out we are having a lil' boy!! :) It was so amazing to get to see him. It was Michael's first time to hear the heart beat and see the baby and he found it extremely fascinating too!! :)  Everything seemed good, they didn't get all the pictures of the heart they wanted so I go back in two weeks for another sneak peak!

     Somehow I dreadfully missed posting about my newest niece {I am going to blame it on morning sickness! :(} that arrived just before Christmas on Dec. 16, 2012. she weighed 7lbs 13oz, 21.5 in long.  I wish so bad that I could hold her because she is growing up way to fast......

She is very loved by her big sister!!

January Getaway.....

     This post is long overdue, but I wanted to blog it so that I can have it documented.:) The long weekend in January found us spending a few relaxing days in Myrtle Beach, SC. It is becoming a tradition for us to sneak away that weekend... Motels, etc. are cheaper this time of year and the beach is normally pretty empty.
     My birthday falls around there too, so that is an extra bonus!! They have two really neat shopping places down, Bearfoot Landing and Broadway at the Beach where you can spend hours just walking around and there is no shortage of mini golf, etc either. We love to walk on the beach and enjoy our ocean front view from our balcony. The get away definitely helps with the after Christmas/Mid-winter blues.:) :)

I know ya'll will love it!! Some of you may not be that familiar with Lilla Rose Hair Accessories, but they are amazing. I have both a flexi clip and  hair sticks, and use them fairly often. The flexi clip is especially handy when you are in a hurry and need something fast but don't want to look like you just threw your hair up. I have used just a pony tale and a clip and it has help my hair up all day very comfortably with no problems at all! You that know me know I have a pretty good amount of hair....It's average thickness and to my knees. I have never found a clip big enough to hold all my hair up all on its own....and comfortably no less.

A New Car

     We have been searching for another car since we found out a little one was on the way....Our mustang just wasn't going to work to well. We really search the week Michael had off between Christmas and New Years. We were pretty open about what we would look at... as long as it was reliable, fit a baby and it's gear, and was in our price range, we'd consider it. Then we ran into this car.... Far nicer than we ever thought of buying and considerably less than we had planned on paying for a car. We personally feel like the Lord bought it to us..... It is in amazing condition, relatively low miles for the age, and has been garage kept. It belonged to an older couple who took wonderful care of it. Needless to say, we are enjoying our new ride very much!!
