This past Friday out church had out annual Fall Family Fun Night. It was lots of fun with of course lots of food and goodies. We had a corn hole game (Thanks to Bro. Dale for doing an awesome job building it!! ), a cake walk, a walk through the woods after dark( A big thank you to Michael and Marcus for their hard work getting that together!:), scavenger hunt for the kids, and a camp fire. :)
Michael received an email about him sent to all the current employees and supervisors in the police division. It was written by the Chief of Police, UNC Hospitals, his soon to be new boss. I was rather proud and wanted to share.... Michael will probably strangle me later. :)
"Guys and Ladies, As you all know we are losing Ed Clemons to retirement. We have found a great person to literally follow in Ed's footsteps. Michael Evans is already familiar to most of you. Michael worked for Valet Parking at ER entrance. He is familiar with our operation and is accustomed to spending a great deal of time outside. If you have dealt with Michael, you know that he has great customer service skills and is a nice young man. Please welcome Michael and assist him in adjusting to his new position. Thanks. Owen Owen R. Wynne Chif of Police UND Hospitals"
This past weekend Debbie and Nathan {sister & brother in-law} were here visiting and we all spent Saturday evening over at Bo's {brother-in-law} pond fishing. I can't stand fishing really....it's ok as long as I don't get close to any fish. :) I love fish tanks, but that is where I draw my line. However, it is good family time, and I am learning to enjoy it more....Here are some pictures from that evening. {You can click on each picture to make them bigger.}
I love this picture... if you look closely, you can see Josh's feet don't touch the ground!
